Pond 3 was dug in the early 80’s, originally it was to be a fishing replacement for Pond 1, the pond will be undergoing extensive development to the footpaths and fishing pegs in 2012.
The pond has 24 fishable pegs.
The pond is around 1.2 acres and has two islands, one small round and the other a long thin island based around an old drainage pipe.
The general depth is around 4 foot but has depths to around 6ft in places, The bottom is generally snag free and has a hard clay bottom.
There is a disabled peg close to the carpark with good access.
Members are asked to park in the carpark rather than on the verges of Heath Road which runs adjacent to the pond, the car park is big enough for approximately 14 cars.

There is large variation of fish in the pond with a few bigger fish present. The fish found in pond 3 include, Carp, Barbel, Chub, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Ide, Perch, and Tench.
The catch rate in pond 3 is generally Good and has a easy to medium difficulty.

Pond open all year round but no keepnets (except in matches) between 14th March and 16th June
Fish dawn to dusk only.
Night Fishing Permits are available
A maximum of 5lb ground bait to be used per fishing session.
Pond can be fished with a day ticket, day tickets are purchased from resident bailiffs
