4th October 2016
Williamthorpe Ponds 1, 2 and 3
Committee members had a meeting with DCC Countryside Services on the 4th October in regard to the continued fishing on ponds 1,2 and 3.
Although the water quality seems to be slowly deteriorating it is not deemed to be at a level where fishing would cease on these ponds, at this time the three ponds will be on the Williamthorpe Angling waters for the 2017/2018 season.
Water quality testing will be undertaken monthly by the Environmental Agency through to October 2017, a decision on the continued fishing for the following fishing season will be made in October 2017.
